Broaches

 Broach is a Cutting tool that contains a series of teeth, each tooth removes a small amount of material in the work piece. Broaches are used to create holes and cut sizes. Broaches are also used to cut mechanical devices such as gears pulleys etc. A keyway broach is used to cut a keyway and a spline broach is used to cut a spline. Each type of broach is used to cut a different amount of materials. There are two main types of broaching processes: internal broaching and external broaching.
